OK... Now I will tell about our second destination: Masjid Dian Al Mahri which is also known as Masjid Kubah Emas.
Masjid Dian Al Mahri is located in Depok, West Java. It was the second time I visit this masjid but the first time for the other members of my family. So, I become navigator for this trip . Based on my previous visit, I know that the street to reach Masjid Dian Al mahri is quite difficult for beginner driver like me so that from Cilandak to Depok, my father was on driver seat :P
Because of heavy traffic jam, we could reach this place after 1,5 hour. To enter this masjid, every car must pay Rp 3000... for parking... may be...
Just like the first time I visit it, Masjid Dian Al Mahri had amazed me. Its golden dome shines. It has wide yard with beautiful flower which is grown inside elegant pot. I opened my car window and felt fresh air blow on me. I could see a lot of visitors there, not only using car but also bus. I guess that they are ibu-ibu pengajian.
After parking the car, we enter to the masjid to pray Dzuhur. For women, we can enter from back side of the masjid while men, from left or right side. To enter the masjid, we must take off our shoes of sandals (of course). There is special place to put your shoes/sandal, so you do not have to worry that your shoes/sandal will be missing or difficut to find. After my mom, my sis and I put our sandals, we take wudhu. Then, we enter to the masjid. Before we enter the "real" inside part of the masjid, there is a very large space which makes this masjid look very wide.
OK.. then we enter the masjid. One thing which shows the luxury of this masjid is a beautiful lamp that hanging below the dome. It is very big one. The paint under the dome is also beautiful. It just like the sky... beautiful!! FYI, there is warning that we may not take picture inside the masjid. But, for me, because the view is too beautiful not to be captured, then I use my cellphone to take some picture, especially that big lamp.
After we finished praying, we got out from the masjid. Then we tried to find my father and brother. After we met, we took some picture outside the masjid. FYI, if you do not bring your own camera, there are a lot of fotographer there. They can take your picture and you can have the result after that. About 3 PM, we went to home.
Yeah, that's all my story about my family activity. Hopefully, it can give you some useful information. Thanks for reading :)
